Wait on the Lord

Today more than ever, I believe we need to hear and recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is a faith walk. One of the things I have learned is to not be in a hurry when when faced with an important decision. Before jumping in, do a double take and meditate and think about the whole situation. When I have waited on the Lord, the Holy Spirit has never failed to unveil things that were previously hidden and could have brought harm in so many ways, if we had walked through that door.

Let's Pray

Heavenly Father,
We give you thanks again and again for continually teaching us how important it is to listen to what you say. Thank you for speaking to us in so many ways. Thank you for unfolding your way, your direction and your best to those who love you. We give you praise this morning! We give you our hearts. We move in patience and sensitivity of your presence. We will bless you Father with our hearts, with our decisions, with our tongues, with our thoughts, with our actions and with everything you have given to us! We give it all back to you; because you gave it to us to steward. Continue to instruct each of us in the different ways where we can see your hands on our lives in a clearer picture.
We say thank you for those who remain faithful in you! For the Body of Christ!
Keep your hands upon those we have in our hearts, who are going through the fire at this time. We ask that you would encourage them, continue to renew their hearts, minds and bodies in every way. Father, as many look out even over your body of water this morning; we ask that the presence of the greatness of your love would be overwhelming in such a way that they would be refilled with your faith. The faith that moves all mountains in their lives. We all agree on this in Jesus.
Amen

"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." Psalm 27:14
