Scoop #3 "Humility Reverses Pride

Humility Reverses Pride

Scoop #3

In today’s circle of worldly advice, humility is not considered to be a wise thing. Humbleness is not a popular word and is kinship to repentance, especially when you begin to admit you have made some wrong choices in your lives. “Keep your pride!" the world says. “Being humble is a sign of weakness!”  Nothing could be further from the truth. Humility requires being like a green willow branch that will bend.  True humbleness is so powerful it will make you crumble inside and will begin to empty all the poison that was destroying you. Picture a mason jar filled with moldy rotten food canned years ago. The forgotten jar sat upon on a dusty shelf and left unopened for years, and over time, a person could see the stagnancy of the milky substance by one simple glance. I wouldn’t eat that, would you? This is how we look when we become prideful. Our outer layer of flesh breeds on pride.  That milky substance is the weakness that our selfishness produces and it is called, “Me.”

Eventually that pride will fall before our Saviors feet.

Self-pride is a deceiver. Why do we exalt ourselves over earthly achievements when our Creator was the one who gave us those abilities? Should we not give Him all the credit?

A humble and thankful heart is what gets God’s attention.

I was asked many years ago why I believed in such an archaic religious system? I replied, that “archaic” system is truth, and it changed my whole life when I began to read the Book of John. Real life is not easy. Early in my life, I discovered I was betrayed, abandoned, lied to, and abused in my early childhood years. Growing up, I asked; what was true love anyway? What was my identity? In not knowing my biological father and having a series of step-fathers I would ask, who was I? After a divorce, I found myself raising 3 sons as a single mother. There were challenging times when the car conked out on the way to work. Times, when I could not afford to get the car fixed or buy the tires it needed. I never received child support. I was alone. The hardest trial was finding a good, decent trustworthy babysitter. My heart was always on my children when I was at work.  Those were times when you learned how to stretch meals yet, still eat nutritiously. Times when you tried to attend all their sport games, take them to the Drs and hold their hands when they got hurt, nurse them through the flu or when one turned green from the chewing tobacco after a game. I searched to offer encouragement and love for them to hopefully grow up without too many hang ups. We teach our children by the examples we give, and my example was by the world’s standards without God before I was born-again. This was before I read The book of John.

I was destroying myself by worldly and fleshly standards and did not realize it. We really do reap what we sow in this life. One sin will always open the gate to add more in your life, that is the way it works. There is a process to sinning and I did my share/ You might ask, “what did you do?”  I say to you, “Enough!”

Then, as my sins piled up in front of me, I discovered I was helpless to get myself out of the pit I had dug for myself. Searchingly, I started reading in the Book of John in the Bible all about God’s love. I learned He loved me before I even knew Him. And I also read,

In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 3:3

Notice, Jesus said “I tell you the truth!”

Jesus Christ was the Lamb of God upon the cross and He was sent by God to be that pure sacrifice for us to be set free from a slavery of sin. This means, He was sinless.  Think about what seems to hold you back from seeking God? That one thing you do not want to let go of. Before Christ, we are all slaves to something. There is something that walks with you every day. Sometimes it is called a crutch. This crutch can prevent you from seeking the truth about God. It is also called fear. The Bible talks about loving sin more than the truth. Seeking God requires humbleness and one single step in the right direction.  It is admitting that you have sinned against God and mankind. All honest godly believers have walked through that door.  What we do does affect those we love. You may consider yourself a good person and do not hurt anyone, but that isn’t what the Bible says.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.” Ro.3:23-24

Yes, I struggled before I was born-again, and it was because of sin. Most of my problems were because of bad choices and not thinking of the consequences that go along with those decisions. They were self-induced. I was an ignorant, fleshly, prideful selfish person.  Perhaps I thought: “No one really cares, why should I?”  Of course, that was a lie, because I did love and care for my children; but without God, how could I give them the best? How could I give them the true love of Christ?  I was giving them a bad example.

As I continued to read the Book of John, I believed what I was reading. I will never forget that first moment I believed. My whole life changed! The words leaped out from the pages, and I knew it was truth! I knew Jesus was the complete answer to my life.  I surrendered my life in prayer, holding nothing back.  Everything inside of me was emptied out that day, like the poison from that old mason jar.

I read salvation is a free gift of Grace [ I did not deserve it] from God. By faith, I believed. I needed His forgiveness! I needed the love He offered! I needed the truth! I wanted everything He offered me, and He gave it all to me!

His Holy Spirit comes and does a work inside of your heart. Being born-again is a supernatural experience from God Himself. God is a Spirit, God is LOVE.

I became just like the word says, “I became a new creature [a new person] in Christ, all the old things were passed away in my life and everything became new.”  I looked at things differently because I saw them differently. I was given new eyes to see the pure, holy truth. I no longer had a hard heart that was caused by abuse, unforgiveness, anger and pride.  But was given a soft flexible new heart that forgives others. I was set free, to grow in The Holy Spirit by the word and with each new promise given to me as I studied, I received by faith. When you walk in humbleness and truth your conscience will be clear and you will be filled with the joy of the Lord. It is no wonder that King David danced before the Lord with all his might.

You might be thinking that you have done so much in your life, how could a good loving God ever forgive you? There is nothing too big or small that God won’t forgive. Jesus said that when someone calls upon Him, He would never cast them out.

But you might ask; “You don’t know what I have done in my life.” You may be thinking, “If I clean up myself before I come to Him, maybe then He will accept me.” I once thought that way because I already knew how unworthy I was. I knew I was a sinner.  That kind of thinking is a lie, because without the power of the Holy Spirit we cannot clean up our own lives. We can try, but it won’t work, and this is why Jesus went to the cross. He gives us goodness and mercy in exchange for our humble repentance.

Do not hesitate over your decision.

Loving the world more than when He is knocking on the door of your heart is not worth risking eternity.

Do I still have trials and tests? Of course, this is how we learn to be overcomers and our faith is also increased. My trust is in God as His Holy Spirit takes me through each trial and test. I give Him all the credit and glory in my life. In time, you will learn consistency.

That one small step of faith will take you into a new life, now.  Accepting Jesus from your heart is a life changing experience. He heals the wounds of your soul and gives you comfort and counsel where you need it. He is the divine restorer.

Pray with me.

Heavenly Father,

I know I am a sinner. I need a new life. Please forgive me my sins: [name them].  Come into my life and make me into a new person in Your Son Jesus Christ. Give me the help I need to do this. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, truth, and love. Guide me, direct me, and feed me your way and take all my worldly stains away and replace them with Your pure word. I ask that You make me into a strong believer, and I ask that I meet many other believers to help on my journey. Thank you, Father, in Jesus I ask, amen.

If you have humbled yourself and prayed that prayer of faith, the Bible declares you have been born-again. Congratulations and welcome into the family! Now you need to learn to study God’s truth and link up with likeminded believers. They will help you through the tough times and pray for you.

Just Believe

The Scoop #2

My cat woke me up at 2:00 this morning and these words kept rolling over my mind. “Faith without works is dead.” I knew the verses in the book of James and started to meditate upon them and what kind of works I was mixing with my faith. We can be right in the middle of doing good works with faith when our motivation is love without realizing it. In fact, this can be a good habit to develop.

I believe it is important not to compare others works with your works. How can the hands compare to the feet? They are both important in the Kingdom of God. Be content with who God has formed you to be.

As I write in my own words, James warns against praying without faith when he says, “If you need wisdom, ask God for it because He is very generous and will give wisdom to you freely without any blame.”

James continues to say, “When you pray, you must pray in faith believing without any wavering or doubt because when you pray wavering or doubting, you are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed about. Such a person ought not to think he will receive anything from the Lord.”

I ask you, why pray if you do not believe for what you have asked? We have a choice in how we pray. In doubt and unbelief or in love and faith.

James continues to say “that man, is double minded in all his ways. In every area this man is unstable.”  James 1:5-8

Our faith in our God grows by hearing His word. When I read or study God’s word, I hear His love talking to me. My soul becomes lighter and joyful, and I begin to think of ways I can love Him back. How? By believing His love for me is truth. I learn to move in faith and walk in His grace. His Holy Spirit and truth inside of me produces fruit and obedience. I begin to realize my biggest lifelong calling is to grow fruit in all situations and to love people right where they are in their life. If I am growing an abundance of fruit, I will be able to discern the temptations and trials that come my way. We are usually given situations where our faith will be tested, a our soul is tempered.

Our Father loves to bless us. I see His blessings every day. Nothing is ever too small or too large for Him. He cares what we care about and knows our requests before we ask. I expect Hm to talk to me and He does in so many ways. How, might you ask?

The Holy Spirit talks to me when I study His word. I can stand upon His promises that minister peace to my heart. Today’s media uses fear to rob you of His peace, but God’s word says:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 kjv

God’s peace is already ours, but it is a fruit that we need to develop and grow. His fruit is grown under the power of His Holy Spirit in our lives by love.

Everyone is different in this walk, though we are one Body of Christ; we see things differently and think differently. At times we will bunt heads over our beliefs; but one thing most of us learn is not to ever hold a grudge or unforgiveness in our hearts. Sometimes, this is not an easy task.  We are all on different areas on our journey, and because of this we find ourselves going back a few miles to repair the cracks that we tried to jump over. There are no shortcuts in our walk.

One of the biggest fruit destroyers is fear, pride and unforgiveness.  Most arguments begin because of pride and after that unforgiveness manifests itself through a grudge. The only one who can deal with this habit is when we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit.

I have developed an old saying that covers most of us treading on this narrow road:

“They [those who have offended you in your past] were where they were at, in that time in their lives; with what they had.”

In other words:   We all react differently in our walk when we are faced with offenses. We are going to respond with the amount of mature fruit we have grown inside of us at that time in our life.”

Understanding this helps us to continue with forgiveness.

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father,

Your word says if we do not forgive those who have offended us that, You will not forgive us our sins. Soften our hearts, that we will forgive all offenses that has happened in our lives. [name them] We forgive by faith and love by faith those who have wounded our souls. Forgive us for holding grudges and being reckless in our words and attitudes. We yield our hearts to your will and ask that You make us more pliable in your hands, in our daily lives. Thank You for the freedom to pray. Thank You for your word. Thank You for your great love, your continual direction, your covering and covenant of promises. In Jesus we pray, amen.

Small prayer of repentance

I was walking around our porch thinking about the state of affairs not just in our nation but in many others. We in the USA are very much use to our freedoms. Freedom to walk to the store, go get an ice cream, buy a new pair of shoes, have friends over and most important; we are free to study the Bible, write about it, pray, gather together and worship, sing songs of praise any time we desire. We take it all for granted. Yes I am thankful for the ability, the tools and this freedom, but in many ways we take it all for granted. We were raised that way.

It truly dawned on me to repent over taking our religious freedom for granted.

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty."

I prayed. Join me if you will:

Heavenly Father,

Yes I have a thankful heart Lord, You know that; but You have shown me that I take the freedom to read your Word for granted, to study in it, to write about it, to have it in my possession. I know it is a gift from You. Forgive me for taking for granted the freedom to sing your praises, to meet with other believers and pray. I can pray any time I wish all because of Your gift.  Forgive me Father for taking all this for granted. I repent and I will never take your gift of freedom for granted again.

In Jesus I pray. Amen.

Introducing: "The Scoop" Just for you!

  July 25, 2022

Volume 1 / Issue 1     By Penny Williams

By The President of the United States of America:

A Proclamation

For a Day of National Humiliation

Fasting and Prayer

Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and Just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation:

And whereas, it is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord:

And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore in compliance with the request and full concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th day of April 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain on that day from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and restoration of our now divided and suffering country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.

                                                    Abraham Lincoln

Done at the city of Washington this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the United States the eighty-seventh.

Welcome to the first issue of THE SCOOP.  This newsletter will be a place of encouragement, hope and honoring others for their faithfulness, integrity, generosity, stamina and above all, their great love for God. Our obedience in Christ is honored when we humbly bury ourselves and give God and others the credit they deserve. There will also be times when I will also be writing subjects that will test your faith. Our faith is tested and tried, not for God to see how we respond to them as He already knows, but for us to see the truth within ourselves during such a time.

The truth?

I believe, we are, “As in The Days of Noah.”

As we see our nation placed in the throes of those who have an unquenchable thirst for practicing evil, we are reminded that it is a spiritual problem that has made its way into the public helms  natural realm for all the world to see.  Many have traded their belief in God, for an easier wide road for them to travel. Instead of swimming upstream, they simply go with the flow. Compromising the word of God has become the norm, rather than embracing truth. Words such as: blood, sin, repentance or hell are left out of messages in fear of offending. That which was once shameful is now blatantly bold and even recruited in every area of our lives and for some, even in the assemblies. Today a myriad of perverted behavior and beliefs are widely accepted.  Few will accept the truth of God that comes from the Bible. Nothing is protected and there are no limits to their decadence. Lifestyles declare, “it is all about me.”  Humility and forgiveness are strangers when patterns of self-absorption have made them blind to the truth and believing a lie. Feelings take the first prize over faith and love. Anything that impedes the growth of the goodness of God and His truth brings an obvious opened gate for seducing and lying spirits that whispers, “there are many ways to heaven.” Unless you know Jesus Christ as your Savior and are full of the Holy Spirit, in word, love and faith, how will you stand against those many spirits in these present days? The spirit of fear? Presently, our nation is like that of a heavy dark cloud blanketing over men’s souls today. Discouragement can harbor our thoughts that say, “It is hopeless, what are we going to do?”

Did you know that the flip side of depression is rejoicing? You can force yourself to rejoice in the Lord whether you feel like it or not.  Rejoicing means to jump up and twirl around. If you can get excited over a football game, why not the truth?  We see these things coming upon our nation and around the world and become horrified, and rightly so; but at the same time, we can be filled with the joy in the Lord. As we breathe, prophecy is being fulfilled. I ask you, if you knew that The King of Kings was going to return tomorrow at 8:00 am, what would you be doing right now?

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father,

Together we thank You for electing us to be here during such a time as this. In our hearts we know that You have everything planned and are fulfilling prophecy even as we pray. Together we choose to trust in You and your word with everything inside of us. Thank You Father.

Your word tells us that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. We gladly agree to those words. We will love instead of being fearful, we will walk in your Spirit with power and a sound mind. Your Son Jesus has left us peace and we gladly seek it, for we have learned His peace guards our hearts.

Your Son compels us to grow good fruit while we are here. We ask that Your Holy Spirit continue to help us to grow fruit so that we can give You glory and be pleasing in your sight.

Together we ask that every reader that believes that Your Son is Lord be filled with Your love and Baptized by Your Spirit. We ask that You fill the needs of all of these readers, and they would be renewed by faith with your word. We ask that if they need a job, we ask that this request be filled. If they need to be healed, or have a broken heart, we agree together that You would fill this too. We ask that every need would be met as they pray. Send a Spirit of Repentance where it is needed and melt any hard hearts, send many words of kindness because your word says that this leads to repentance. Those who have been praying for their families, we ask that You send an encouraging word for them to know, You have heard their prayers. Refill their holy faith with love for You, Joy in You and Peace in You.

For those who are walking in darkness and need You, we ask they would come to You and their eyes be opened with understanding through belief. Bring these babies in Father. Lift up those who are seeking to do a work for You and bring them into an, on the job training to speak truth into needy hearts. Teach them by their experiences and by what they have learned by study. Send them good honest friends that will help them with their new walk in You.

We send this prayer to You Father in faith and love in Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Prayer in faith for healing. How much faith & love do you have in our Jehovah Rapha , who heals?

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for guiding, leading and directing our paths into where You would have us be. We believe your mercy and grace continually reminds us of your deep love for us. Right now, we confess that we have sinned against You and others. [confess your sins to Him]_____________. [Christian, If you have formed a habit of judging those who also love the Lord, now is the time to ask God for help and forgiveness.] We ask that your Holy Spirit would clean up our judgmental hearts and replace it with your love for You and each other. We ask that You would remind us we are here to delight [be flexible] in You with all of our hearts and not lean upon our own understanding and to conform to your will and let go of the things that hinder our walk in You. For, your Son said: " I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also can say to this mountain, Go throw yourself into the sea and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. mt.21:21,22 " Father, we know that it is impossible to please You without faith and that when anyone comes to You, we must believe that You exist and that You reward those that who earnestly seek You. He.11:6."  We believe Father. We believe in You and walk by faith and we know You hear our prayers because You are a God of grace, mercy and love.  We know that when your son walked the earth that He healed everyone that is mentioned and did so much more that isn't even mentioned. By faith we believe. By faith we know You are the God who heals. You are Jehovah Rapha our God who heals. We refuse to put limitations on You in anyway. We refuse to reduce your word to what is possible. We choose to stand solidly upon all your words by faith. All things are possible to us who believe. We ask together that Your healing breath would go upon those who pray and believe these words in faith. We refuse to pray in doubt or unbelief! We refuse to cancel any part of our prayer with doubtful words because You have taught us that life and death is in the power of the tongue.  Heal them all, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord.

Small prayer for us to agree together

Sometimes we don't know what to pray or how to pray. But we know we must pray. I am called to intercede every morning, unless something prevents it.

Pray along with me and let's agree together with this small prayer. If you are humble and sincere, God will hear you and answer your prayer, but you must use your faith and believe and expect it. Many are in walking in fear today instead of love and faith. This prayer should help you.

Precious Heavenly Father,

We thank You for caring for the little things in our lives as well as those mountains that we know need to be removed. We ask that Your Holy Spirit teach us those precious pearls that give us Your wisdom and understanding that we are so desperate to learn. Your word tells us that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but You give us; Love, Power and a Sound Mind. We embrace these words and Your love and will not allow anyone or anything to take it from our hearts. We embrace Your power and strength, for we lean upon You for everything we need and have. We trust in You for everything. Thank You for a sound mind. We may not "feel" it at times, but we know You are our God who does not break His covenant with His people, has never-ending love and unfailing love. Thank You Father for hearing our prayers. We choose to use the faith that You have given to us and we choose to use the name of Your Son Jesus with power and we choose to worship You O Father in Spirit and Truth. We desire to make you smile, to please You and glorify You in everything we do. Draw us closer Father, continue to make us strong and be bold when we need to be. We have learned we can walk in Your strength, in Your will for we are called the children of God. In Jesus we pray, amen.

KING OF KINGS

 KING OF KINGS

FALLING ON MY KNEES, I ASKED, “ARE YOU THE SON OF GOD?”

“SOME CALL YOU THE MESSIAH.”

OTHERS SAY, “THE LAMB OF GOD.”

“I AM, HE WHISPERED PAINFULLY.”

“YOU ARE DYING FOR ME?” I DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

“FOR YOU AND ALL MANKIND, HE BREATHED.”

I TREMBLED AS MY MIND SEARCHED FOR UNDERSTANDING.

HIS EYES WERE FILLED WITH TEARS.

HIS BODY JERKED WITH PAIN.

THOUGH HE SUFFERED, HE EXPRESSED COMPASSION TOWARDS ME.

I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE LOVE THAT EMBRACED ME AS WE TALKED.

THEY CALLED HIM, KING OF THE JEWS.

I HEARD HIM PROMISE PARADISE TO THE THIEF ON HIS RIGHT.

I WAS AMIDST HOLINESS.

THE WEIGHT OF HIS SUFFERING BEGAN TO TORMENT MY SOUL.

HE WAS UNRECOGNIZABLE.

THEY PLUCKED OUT HIS BEARD, MOCKED HIM AND SPIT IN HIS FACE.

ANOTHER WHIPPED HIM WITH 39 STRIPES WITH A “CAT O NINE TAILS.”

BUT...

IT WAS I WHO CREATED A CROWN OF THORNS AND PUSHED IT UPON HIS HEAD!

IT WAS I WHO NAILED HIM ON THE CROSS!

IT WAS I WHO SPEARED HIS SIDE AND SAW THE WATER AND THE BLOOD FLOW!

THOSE AROUND ME WERE WEEPING AND PRAYING.

BOWING, I BEGAN TO SOB UNCONTROLLABLY.

JESUS WHISPERED, “I THIRST.”

THE SPONGE SHOOK AS I GAVE HIM A DRINK.

HE SIGHED.

THEN, JESUS SAID, “IT IS FINISHED.”

SEEING THIS, MY EMOTIONS FILLED WITH PANIC.

THE SKY DARKENED AS ARROWS OF LIGHT PIERCED THE EARTH. I HEARD THUNDER ANGRILY ROAR ACROSS THE HEAVENS.

THE EARTH BEGAN TO SHAKE AND ONCE MORE I LOOKED UP AT THIS KING.

NOW A LIFELESS FORM.

TRUTH AWAKENED MY SPIRIT AND MY HEART BEGAN TO FEEL LIGHT.

I BELIEVED! I BELIEVED!

THIS MAN JESUS WAS TRUTH INCARNATE.

THIS KING OF KINGS REFLECTED THE LOVE OF THE FATHER.

TRULY HE WAS THE SON OF GOD!

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

BY PENNY WILLIAMS

One small thought I would like to leave with you. When they nailed Jesus to the cross, those soldiers did not realize they were nailing every past, present and future sin of those who believe that Jesus is Lord and was sent by the Father, to be a pure sacrifice for us. And, when they carried Him upon the cross to the place on Golgotha, they were carrying our sins that Jesus took upon Himself. When they lifted the cross up to be placed upon the hill, our sins were also lifted and covered by the blood that Jesus shed for us. Jesus was placed into the sepulcher and on the third day He arose! The Bible talks about how He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities [those who had plotted His death] He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. He was seen by approximately 600 people and kept teaching them for 40 days.  He left us His Holy Spirit and His name to pray in spirit and truth when we pray.

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD, I URGE YOU TODAY TO HUMBLE YOURSELF AND PRAY. WHEN WE HUMBLE OURSELVES, WE GET GOD’S ATTENTION AND HE LOOKS AT THE INTENTS OF YOUR HEART.

PRAY THIS WITH A SINCERE HEART:

Heavenly Father,

I admit I am a sinner. I ask that Your Son Jesus come into my life and give me a new heart. Please forgive my sins. Confess your sins_________________

Mold me and make me into that new person in Christ.   In Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

If you have prayed that small simple prayer of faith, the Bible says you have been born-again of the Spirit. Welcome to the family! Buy yourself a good Bible and search out a Bible believing church so you can begin to grow in the Spirit.
