As September
begins to unfold in our lives, we watch the leaves give honor and praise to our
Creator in one last emboldened brilliancy of gold, oranges, sapphires and purples.
A sweep of holy silence whispers right before September’s great display of love.
And then, all those who are listening can hear; September’s sweet song of
thankfulness and gratitude that embraces all hearts with a quiet humbleness
and says, “Thank you Lord” for it is once again our time of rest.
We all need
that special time of rest; a rest that nourishes our soul and feeds our spirit.
“Rest in the
Lord, and wait patiently for him; fret not thyself because of him who
prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalm
37:7 KJV
