 KING OF KINGS 

 

FALLING ON MY KNEES, I ASKED, “ARE YOU THE SON OF GOD?” 

“SOME CALL YOU THE MESSIAH.” 

OTHERS SAY, “THE LAMB OF GOD.” 

“I AM, HE WHISPERED PAINFULLY.” 

“YOU ARE DYING FOR ME?” I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. 

“FOR YOU AND ALL MANKIND, HE BREATHED.” 

I TREMBLED AS MY MIND SEARCHED FOR UNDERSTANDING. 

HIS EYES WERE FILLED WITH TEARS.  

HIS BODY JERKED WITH PAIN.  

THOUGH HE SUFFERED, HE EXPRESSED COMPASSION TOWARDS ME. 

I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE LOVE THAT EMBRACED ME AS WE TALKED.  

THEY CALLED HIM, KING OF THE JEWS. 

I HEARD HIM PROMISE PARADISE TO THE THIEF ON HIS RIGHT. 

I WAS AMIDST HOLINESS. 

THE WEIGHT OF HIS SUFFERING BEGAN TO TORMENT MY SOUL.  

HE WAS UNRECOGNIZABLE. 

THEY PLUCKED OUT HIS BEARD, MOCKED HIM AND SPIT IN HIS FACE. 

ANOTHER WHIPPED HIM WITH 39 STRIPES WITH A “CAT O NINE TAILS.” 

BUT... 

IT WAS I WHO CREATED A CROWN OF THORNS AND PUSHED IT UPON HIS HEAD! 

IT WAS I WHO NAILED HIM ON THE CROSS! 

IT WAS I WHO SPEARED HIS SIDE AND SAW THE WATER AND THE BLOOD FLOW! 

THOSE AROUND ME WERE WEEPING AND PRAYING. 

BOWING, I BEGAN TO SOB UNCONTROLLABLY. 

JESUS WHISPERED, “I THIRST.” 

THE SPONGE SHOOK AS I GAVE HIM A DRINK. 

HE SIGHED. 

THEN, JESUS SAID, “IT IS FINISHED.” 

SEEING THIS, MY EMOTIONS FILLED WITH PANIC. 

THE SKY DARKENED AS ARROWS OF LIGHT PIERCED THE EARTH. I HEARD THUNDER ANGRILY ROAR ACROSS THE HEAVENS. 

THE EARTH BEGAN TO SHAKE AND ONCE MORE I LOOKED UP AT THIS KING. 

NOW A LIFELESS FORM. 

TRUTH AWAKENED MY SPIRIT AND MY HEART BEGAN TO FEEL LIGHT. 

I BELIEVED! I BELIEVED! 

THIS MAN JESUS WAS TRUTH INCARNATE. 

THIS KING OF KINGS REFLECTED THE LOVE OF THE FATHER. 

TRULY HE WAS THE SON OF GOD! 

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

One small thought I would like to leave with you. When they nailed Jesus to the cross, those soldiers did not realize they were nailing every past, present and future sin of those who believe that Jesus is Lord and was sent by the Father, to be a pure sacrifice for us. And, when they carried Him upon the cross to the place on Golgotha, they were carrying our sins that Jesus took upon Himself. When they lifted the cross up to be placed upon the hill, our sins were also lifted and covered by the blood that Jesus shed for us. Jesus was placed into the sepulcher and on the third day He arose! The Bible talks about how He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities [those who had plotted His death] He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. He was seen by approximately 600 people and kept teaching them for 40 days.  He left us His Holy Spirit and His name to pray in spirit and truth when we pray. 

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD, I URGE YOU TODAY TO HUMBLE YOURSELF AND PRAY. WHEN WE HUMBLE OURSELVES, WE GET GOD’S ATTENTION AND HE LOOKS AT THE INTENTS OF YOUR HEART.  

PRAY THIS WITH A SINCERE HEART:    

Heavenly Father, 

I admit I am a sinner. I ask that Your Son Jesus come into my life and give me a new heart. Please forgive my sins. Confess your sins_________________.  

Mold me and make me into that new person in Christ.   In Jesus Christ I pray. Amen 

If you have prayed that small simple prayer of faith, the Bible says you have been born-again of the Spirit. Welcome to the family! Buy yourself a good Bible and search out a Bible believing church so you can begin to grow in the Spirit.    

 

Are you called to be an Intercessor?

 Ezekiel 22:30  "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gapon behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none."

Proverbs  14:1"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down"

Isaiah 21: 11, 12  "Someone calls to me from Seir,"Watcman what is left of the night?  Watchman what is left of the night?:  the watchman replies, "morning is coming but also the night...

As an intercessor I feel God has called us to be that builder of the wall, the one who stands in the gap for our family, friends, the unsaved, the sick who need healing of spirit, soul, heart, mind and /or body.  As the chosen of God to pray we should be a builder, one who seeks God's favorfor another, in our families, our friends, our church fellowhsip and surrounding communities.  We build up the wall and our house by standing in the gap for the needs,interests,and projects in our church fellowship.  I feel blessed to be called to this important aspect of ministry to the family of God.   I pray those who also feel the call to be intercessors will join this group and together storm the throne room of heaven with ferventand persistent prayer.  It is my desire for this group to be true to the call and have testimonies gloryfying the Lord Jesus.  May others see this church as an earnest, sincere and dedicated group seeking God's favor, God's promises acted out in the lives of others and the joy of serving our wonderful Saviour.  We have the opportunity to explore the powerful avenues of praising and worshipping Christ Jesus, building up the body and bringing those outside salvation into faith of eternal life with Christ.  May the reputation of selflessly seeeking the Lord on behalf of all other bring joy to the Lord and pleasure to us in fulfilling our Lords greatcommission.  As Jim Cymbala states, God is constantly searching for people to bless.  He's not looking for men and women with special talents or unusual intelligence or great stregth bu for those who possess a certain kind f heart."  This kind of heart is best demonstrated by David who had a heart after God's heart.  As intercessors our quest is to bring before the throne of God and the feet of Jesus those deep hurts and situations of others that seem hopeless or impossible to handle.

#1.  It is very important that all intercessors have a personal intimate relationship with Jesus.

#2.  It is very important that we keep ourselves transparent beore God and have no hidden sin but always give the Holy Spirit 

       time to show us those things in our life that are displeasing to God or would hinder our coming before the throne for the needs         of others.

#3.  Praise and worship our Saviour and Lord for his characteristics and faithfulness.

#4.  Bringing the Word of God before the throne as it applies to the request.

#5. We must believe that God is the maker and creator of all things and all belongs to Him.  He is able, willing, and waiting to hear             and answer our petitions.  Pray with a believing heart that the answer is forthcoming.

#6.  Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and pray according to the heart of God especially if we are not sure of the status of the               request.  God knows all needs and we can trust him to pray through us by the Holy Spirit if we give him the opportunity.

#7.  Be moved by compassion for those asking for prayer.

#8.  Be aware of the concerns and desires of the pastor's heart, the other teams needs and requests and keep all information completely within the gorup never giving out any details.

#9.  Be faithful to pray and seek the Lord if he awakens in the night and lays a request upon heart.

#10.  Realize prayer is so important for the night is almost over and daylight is coming when our time will be over to bring others into  the family and realize Christ will return soon for his own after which it will be too late for salvation to be received.

Wednesday Prayer

 Heavenly Father,

You have taught us to thank You when we go through tough times here on earth, because we know You are making us strong. Your word tells us to give thanks over everything. We thank You for all the trials and testings and we know without a doubt You are the one who brings us through it all. We know You hear our prayers. We know that You are working in our hearts, minds and bodies, healing them and delivering us from the stains of the world that try to hang on. We know that it is You who have given us the mind of Christ, It is You who is restoring our lives, It is You who continues to reform us like clay into that perfect vessel and image of Your Son Jesus. You have blessed us, You lead us by still waters, You give us rest and it is by Your strength we continue to increase our faith. You have taught us "Greater is He who is in us, than He who is in the world!" We walk by faith, not by sight, not by what we hear and not by what we feel." We trust in Your Word. We thank You for the process of sanctification and we can gladly say; "We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him."  1John 5:18. Thank you for never leaving us, for protecting us, for speaking to us and above all; for. your never ending love, faithfulness and forgiving us. 

We thank You for sending Your son Jesus to be the Lamb of God that takes our sins away and gives a new heart. Today on this Wednesday we humble ourselves and willingly confess our sins_____ and  we ask that You would take us the rest of the way. Help us Father to grow in You and be that light You have called us to be.

IN Jesus we pray. Amen.

If you have humbly and sincerely prayed that prayer, the Bible says that you are born again, a new creature in Christ, old things are passed away and all things become new. Seek a good Bible believing church, get a good Bible and begin to pray and read the New Testament first, preferably The Book of John. Your life will change as truth is given. Join a small group of believers and they will love you, pray for you when you have hurdles and you will learn from them. Congratulations and welcome into the family of God.

Whereas a joint committee of both Houses of Congress has waited on the President of the United States and requested him to "recommend a day of public humiliation, prayer, and fasting to be observed by the people of the United States with religious solemnities and the offering of fervent supplications to Almighty God for the safety and welfare of these States, His blessings on their arms, and a speedy restoration of peace;" and

Enemies within the church

 What in the world am I talking about?  Watch the video and you will be enlightened and please share it with your loved ones. 

I was reading this documentary this morning out of Charisma Mag. It is called "Enemies Within The Church."  They have made a video about it, but because I don't have sound yet, I cannot watch it. But I honestly believe everyone should watch it, if it is as good as the written documentary.

I was appalled. Then, the Lord showed me how this is a part of the apostate church [Worldwide Church].  Please send the link to everyone, people need to be aware of the perversion in the church today and how people are leaving the truth to accept the lie.

Small Morning Prayer

 Heavenly Father,

We give You all praise this morning. You have taught us that though we have many plans in our heart, it is Your purpose that will stand and be carried out. We thank You for continually guiding and directing us exactly where we need to be in You. Your word says that You instruct us and teach  us in the way we should go and that you counsel us [those who are willing to learn] with Your eye upon us. We are thankful. You encourage us with Your Word and encourage us that, You nullify the counsel of the nations and You make the thoughts and plans of the people ineffective. We believe this Father and this is what we ask for this morning. We ask that every evil scheme that comes from darkness be casted down and ineffective. We know it is, Your counsel stands forever Father with all Your thoughts and plans throughout all generations.  Your Word declares that a nation whose God is the Lord is blessed.  We stand upon these words this morning. 

Father, bring our nation where it should be, in the middle of Your will. Thank You for the testings and trials. Thank for making Your people a strong people.  We depend upon Your Holy Spirit to do a deep work inside of us and come forth as gold, for Your pleasure. We rest in You and have peace in You, for Your Word is truth. In Jesus we pray, amen.
