Look for the Goodness in People

Never Give Up

“When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.” Romans 1:22 NLV

Whatever we give to another, will always come back to us. Need encouragement? Begin to look for ways to say a good word to those most in need. Begin to train yourself to think upon helping those who need a shoulder, a good word or a helping hand. Look for the good in people.
It is easy for us to spot the inefficiencies and faults of other people, especially if we are working with them or live with them. Most times the very things we are finding fault in are only a reflection of our own stained hearts.  We need to exercise more love.

Make today a challenge. Begin to look for the good in one person, then; when you see you can do that, go for another.  Make a special effort to tell them about this goodness. How do you know that the very words that come out of your mouth will be exactly what they needed to hear and will be making their whole day!

In doing this, you will see their faces light up with hope. Giving rays of hope can become contagious because everything you give will all come back to you in the future. When we give hope to others we  are giving the love of God and have developed a good habit.

Sometimes, you may have to secretly watch another for awhile to pick up their goodness. The smallest thing should be noticed. For example: Say, a fellow work associate is in the cafeteria everyday and eats alone. Perhaps he/she is an odd type, not necessarily friendly and may have a hard time fitting into the social circles. Does he seem to have a knack with the way he does his job? Does he seem to be good with accounting? Is he wearing a new tie, new shirt? Hair cut differently? If you look hard enough you will be able to find something good to say to him.

An example of a dose of encouragement could be to walk up and say:
”Hey Harry, I noticed how well you handled that account, that was amazing!” And you smile and walk away.
Or, “Hey Sara, you have a new haircut, and that is really looking good.”  And, you smile and walk away. Remember, a small dose of encouragement can come from a very small action.
Or,” I noticed how that school bully was being rough with you and the way you handled it was outstanding!”
For a young child, “Gina, I love the way you folded your clothes and put them away. You are going to grow up and be so organized.”  In this last one, we not only told the child how we noticed her folding and then putting the clothes away, but we went a little bit further and declared by faith that she was going to be organized in the future.

The giver always reaps more benefit than the receiver.  What can you lose when you have everything to gain?

By Faith, Your Chains are Broken!

Through it All, God Never Fails

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 KJV

Though the world changes and your life progresses into a ripened experience; you once did not have and as you begin to see the bigger picture, there is one thing we can know without a doubt;  and that is knowing our Father God never changes.

We are called to live by faith not by sight. If we were to live by the things that we see, sooner or later we would discover a boundary that falls short of our needs and a lack of confidence in the God who never fails. God’s blessings are boundless.
Just recently I had the good fortune to talk to my in-laws about God. The night before, I prayed and asked God that He would make a way for me to answer questions for them. Just like clockwork the next evening,  the questions were asked. I was amazed to see how the Holy Spirit was moving in our midst. These are people who left God over 50 years ago and denied he existed and replaced him with jazz clubs and plenty of beer.

I was particularly concerned about the gentleman because he has the early stages of dementia. When he gets into his car to drive, he has a problem understanding which way is right or left. Too much alcohol destroys our brain cells. That evening he had a sound mind and an open heart. He understood everything I was saying and agreed. He started to open up about his childhood and how his mother had abandoned him and his siblings. She left his father for another man; when they were only babies.  He spoke of the bitterness his father had, how he would beat him and how he never loved him. Later when he grew up and tried to befriend his father, he still turned him away on a continual basis. Both of these men, had wounded spirits and souls. One soul tried to reconcile but was rejected over and over. Unable to understand the actions from the rejection of his parents, is it any wonder he finally went to drink?

This is exactly what the evil spirits want to accomplish as they look for the open doors of weaknesses in our lives. They strive to enter the doors of our lives as early as possible and once inside; keep work to stay in control through a spirit of bondage, all of our lives if allowed; whether it be drink, drugs or fear. Whatever your weakness, they can gain entrance if you do not know Jesus as your Savior.

Hold on though! Though our gentleman has gone though such extreme rejection, God has used him to bring about an extraordinary measure of discernment and empathy. He understands the pain others go through. He understands the hearts of those who have experienced the deepest throes of abandonment and lack of love while growing up. He understands abuse and he understands being caught in a web; wanting to get out but feeling chained to something that keeps holding him down.

Unless you have been there, you will not be able to understand the heaviness that weighs such a heart.

God uses everything we go through and he turns it all around to help those who need a heavy shoulder for them to lean upon. Every time someone is leaning on another person in love, they are seeing the love of Jesus.

My in-law was telling me that he was talking to an elderly lady of 89 years with no family; who was worried that she might outlive her monthly income. Her Baptist Pastor heard about her worry and told her not to worry about it and that the church will take care of her. Now she can live the rest of her life in peace without financial worry. This is what the church is supposed to do and the kindness of the church touched our gentleman’s heart. The little widow lady may not have realized how he was being touched when she was telling him her story. God used her to sow more seed in his heart.

You may have prayed for a person for years and still have not seen the results of your petitions. Now, stand upon your prayers and begin to thank God for the answer. Move your speech into a faith speech and picture your request as done. Believe the whole thing as finished. When doubt begins to enter your heart: Ask yourself, “how big is my God?”

Remind yourself that we have a God who never fails us. We have one who never abandon’s us. When he says he is going to do something, take him at his word.

We do not have to understand everything to accept his word or live by faith.

Our part is to live a life of love and obedience.

A Small Dose of Encouragement for Your Today

Make up your mind to be all that you can be today, let God do the rest.

Part of how to do this is to be thankful. Can we touch a window as show in the picture? Can we look through the window?

Be thankful for the eyes God has given to us, we can look through that window, see the eyes of an adoring pet and watch a sunset. Your eyes cannot be compared to anyone else's because it is through your eyes that His truth is revealed, little by little.

Allow a complete day of thankfulness to encase your whole day and expect God's goodness to whisper, to defend and to love you from the early morning coffee to your evening wine.

God bless you.

Are you Abiding?

A Snack to Graze Upon

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. [Whose power no foe can withstand]. Psalms 91: 1

Most people want change in their lives but refuse to change themselves. They complain about everything around them, but cannot see the blindside of their own wrongs.

Believers should snack on truth and spread the good news around. Look for the good in others and always give them the benefit of the doubt. We cannot read men's hearts. It would be a sin for us to assume.

Stay fixed upon what God has told you and walk in His ways. Set your face firmly upon your path and do not waver, no matter what you are going through.

Remember, Jesus told his disciples that "if they persecute me, they will also persecute you."

Pray and believe that God has already heard you and walk trusting in Him.

Believe that mercy and truth are your friends and share them with everyone you meet today.

God bless you.

Love your Enemies

Drink this spot of Tea this Morning.

"But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. To show that you are the children of your father who is in heaven, for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and wrongdoers [alike].
For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not  even the tax collectors do that? Matthew 5:44-46 amp.

Most of us know that those closest to us, will sometimes be the hardest to love. We usually find ourselves taking them for granted and they in return take us for granted. Before you know it, everyone is taking each other for granted.

We see each other's annoying habits and overlook many things, then out of the blue; all those things we did not communicate about becomes like a volcano and we erupt.

Every day is a challenge to respond in a godly way for those who believe in the God of the Bible. One minute you can be up and full of the joy of the Lord, the next minute you can walk into work; and discover you have become jobless.

We do not know what a day is going to bring. However, I have become convinced over the years, that if we are truly renewing our minds to the will of God; it will be the Holy Spirit inside of us who will be responding in that acceptable way. Just as Romans 12:2  promises.

Therefore, teach yourselves not to be anxious, but to trust God in every situation. Begin to look and watch how He works it all out in your life.

God is a Spirit

            The Spirit of Love

“A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshippers.
God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). John 4:23,24 amp

God is a Spirit. The word Spirit in the greek is: “pneuma”  meaning: wind, breath, spirit. The word Spirit is the very breath of life. When this breath of life goes out, it generously imparts life in all ways! The breath of life breathes into a soul and makes it into a living being! Everything that you can see that is alive is because the Spirit of life has breathed upon that plant, upon that animal or that little baby that was conceived and born. The Spirit of God reproduces life. One Holy and Godly breath brings mercy, love and blessings of goodness. One powerful single breath opens our eyes to his glorious truth and draws us into the unfathomable greatness of God’s love.

All good gifts come from The Spirit of Life that connects the invisible with the visible through the hearts of his people. One breath brings an awakening.  God’s Holy breath becomes a bridge of decision that chooses life or death.

In Genesis 1:2 the verse talks about how the Spirit of God moved or hovered over the face of the waters. The Hebrew word is “Veruach” and means the same as the Greek word: Breath, Wind and Spirit.

Paint this picture in your mind;  a place of darkness, as the Spirit of God - E-lo-him - fashioned the earth; His Spirit was in the depth of the oceans and moved in such a selective ratio and timing across the face of the waters to position every minuscule of every mineral and vital particle of protein where
E-lo-him knew would bring life. His breath literally positioned the whole earth into design. The mathematical timing was perfect in the hour, the day and the year. I believe, as the seaweed began to form, the waves started to roar; and as they rolled their fierce appearance forming foam; the sea was unable to contain itself! The sea may have broke forth into praises toward it's Creator
E-lo-him, the Spirit of God. With every clap of water, was music to The Spirit of God. The Spirit of God had a plan.

Moving back to the New Testament to 1 John chapter 4, we will meditate on some of these verses.

Remember, when Jesus walked the earth, he spoke in Aramaic. Although, we know it was interpreted into the greek, there are times when I believe we need to go right back to the original text. Because of this I like to bring the Aramaic Version in these next few verses.

In 1 John 4:2 it says: “The Spirit of God is known by this: Every prophecy which declares that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is from God.”
The same Spirit of God that is the Breath of life is the same Spirit that gives a Breath in prophecy and declares that Jesus came in the flesh is from GOD.
Verse 7 says: “My beloved, let us love one another; for love is FROM GOD, and everyone who loves is BORN OF GOD AND KNOWS GOD. “

Love is from God!  FROM GOD!

Love gives! The Spirit of God imparts life! The Spirit of God breathed LOVE upon every channel of his creation. The Spirit of God is founded upon his love. It is hard in the simplicity of our language to describe such a Divine Diety of Holiness that is the Creator and Founder of Love.

This is such a powerful statement. Let us bathe in those words for a minute. Love is from God! In order for us to really love we must be BORN OF GOD. If we are born of God – then- we will know God. We will know the Spirit of God, the one who is the giver of life, E-lo-him; our Creator who imparts life; The one who hovered over the face of the waters and breathed life into the ocean.

Are you able to grasp such a revelation? Do it! And, store this goodness deep into your heart to meditate about later when you have your private time.

Verse 8 says, “He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.”
If we do not love, we cannot know God, because GOD IS LOVE.

Not only is love from God, but God IS love!

Every time we see sincere loving care for another or those who take time out to pray for others; we are seeing the Spirit of God (LOVE) working in this earth. That same Spirit of God that imparts life and brings love to all who believe; transforms our lives for the good.

We can safely say when the Spirit of God hovered over those waters, it was the Spirit of Love that breathed life. When a baby is conceived, it is the Spirit of Love that breathes upon that child and imparts life.

Verses 9, 10 says, “By this was the love of God made known, for God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Before God’s son came into the world, we did not understand the definition of love, because the Spirit of Love produced the Son of Love. Unless there is a breath from the Spirit of Love, we cannot give what we do not have inside of us. We cannot give the love of the Son; who imparts love, unless he resides within us.

The Spirit of God (LOVE) gave his only begotten son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Here is what the word propitiation means:
Propitiation [N] [B]
that by which God is rendered propitious, i.e., by which it becomes consistent with his character and government to pardon and bless the sinner. The propitiation does not procure his love or make him loving; it only renders it consistent for him to execise his love towards sinners.
In Romans 3:25 and Hebrews 9:5 (A.V., "mercy-seat") the Greek word hilasterion is used. It is the word employed by the LXX. translators in Exodus 25:17 and elsewhere as the equivalent for the Hebrew kapporeth , which means "covering," and is used of the lid of the ark of the covenant (Exodus 25:21 ; 30:6 ). This Greek word (hilasterion) came to denote not only the mercy-seat or lid of the ark, but also propitation or reconciliation by blood. On the great day of atonement the high priest carried the blood of the sacrifice he offered for all the people within the veil and sprinkled with it the "mercy-seat," and so made propitiation.
In 1 John 2:2 ; 4:10 , Christ is called the "propitiation for our sins." Here a different Greek word is used (hilasmos). Christ is "the propitiation," because by his becoming our substitute and assuming our obligations he expiated our guilt, covered it, by the vicarious punishment which he endured. (Compare Hebrews 2:17 , where the expression "make reconciliation" of the A.V. is more correctly in the RSV "make propitiation.")

I felt it was important to understand the connection of the “mercy-seat” in the Old Testament times; meaning the “covering” that is used of the lid of the ark of the covenant. Propitation also means reconciliation by blood. The priest would carry the blood sacrifice he offered for all the people within the veil and sprinkled with it the “mercy-seat.”

The Bible talks about how we (those who believe) are “covered by the blood of Christ.” We have a blood Covenant. Our sins have been forgiven through the atonement.

Jesus Christ’s blood was sprinkled upon the mercy-seat so that all who believe that He is the son of God would have forgiveness of sins. The Spirit of Love imparts mercy.

Therefore, in summary; we know that The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Love and imparts His love through His breath. His breath imparts life and is motivated by his love.  The Spirit of Love sent His Son of Love.

When God’s Spirit of Love breathes life into an individual and becomes aware of what happened and how they have been touched; it is up to the receiver to develop his life in Christ, in love throughout his lifetime while he lives.
Every heart who accepts Jesus Christ - the sacrificial Lamb of God, receives the Spirit of God inside of him and is adopted into the family of God.

19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” 1 Co. 6:19, 20

Jesus Christ was the prophesied Messiah and walked upon the earth with the Spirit of Love inside of him. He preformed many miracles, healed many people, casted out demons, gave words of knowledge, was a great teacher, prophesied of things to come, warned the hypocritical religious people of the day, the Roman soldiers plucked out his beard, was tortured and scourged by a cat-o-nine-tails to the point of being unrecognizable. Weak and bloody and in much pain, he was forced to carry his own cross to a place called Golgotha. Jesus fell along the road under the pressure of the heavy cross, in which a man by the name of Simon of Cyrene was forced to carry the cross the rest of the way.

The ruggedly built man called Simon silently walked next to Jesus as he carried his cross for him and I have no doubt that The Spirit of love, ministered grace into his heart. What did Simon think during this time? He had just come from work and all of a sudden was caught up in the whole process of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I believe he was humbled.

Jesus was nailed to a cross between two thieves, one was repentant; the other mocked Jesus. After his death, they place him in a tomb and on the third day he arose from the grave! Just like he promised his disciples! He was seen by over 500 eye witnesses! 1 Co. 15:6

Once you believe and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Holy Spirit will work inside of you; as you begin your journey to grow in the Kingdom of God.
Jesus promised his church that he will be coming back to earth to set up the Kingdom of God. No one knows the time or the hour of his coming except his Father God. The Spirit of God.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior? Will you be ready when he comes back?  Those who love him are looking for his return daily.

The Bible talks about how there are many Books of Remembrance and there is a book that is called “The Lamb’s Book of Life.” Every time a sinner humbles himself, repents and believes that Jesus Christ died for his sins; his name is recorded in that book.

This is not a fairy tale, but reality. God never took our free will away to choose right from wrong, death or life. The minute you humble yourself and admit that you have sinned, you are choosing life and The Holy Spirit meets you the rest of the way and he will never leave you.

Do not wait for another tomorrow. Tomorrow may not come.

God Bless you and I pray His Spirit of Love will breathe upon you.

Follow these Two Commandments

What do these Two Commandments really mean?

34But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together. 35One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him 36“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37And He said to him, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR mind”,  38“This is the great and foremost commandment. 39“The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. 40“On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:34-40 NAS

When Jesus was talking about the whole law, he was talking about the Commandments of Moses. He knew that if we love God, we will not sin willingly against him in our heart, soul or mind. For example: briefly; mentioning the first of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 says:
You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

In those days the people would purposefully fashion Idols of wood, gold or whatever was convenient to mold and use to worship. Today in our modern electronic society, anything that takes precedence over God and his will can be subject to be called an Idol. The thought can be frightening. If we are honest within our hearts, cannot some of our lives even be defined as having “Idol (not to be confused with idle) Comforts?” In regards to Idols, I think we can agree they can be an individual thing that has not yet been confronted because we are not willing to give them up.

God told Moses that he was against Idolatry. He did not want any other gods to come between him and his people. If we are loving our God with all of our heart then, we are giving him first place in our lives.

Love him with all of your soul. Our soul is our decision making center and a place filled with emotions. When we make our decisions are we first thinking what God’s will would be in the matter? In other words, “I make this decision because I love God.”

And, we are to love God with all of our mind, our place of reasoning and thinking. Do we structure our thoughts to be centered upon God and his ways more than anything? Do we give Jehovah God praise in our thoughts while we drive to work? Are we aware of His presence as we pray and give him thanks that we still have the ability to walk, see and drive?

God wants us to put him first in our lives and the only way we can do this is to love him more than anything in our lives. Everything we do should be founded on God’s love. This should be our motive for all our actions.

When you begin to love God first, you are activating what Jesus said: Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" Mt. 4:4NIV

We cannot live successfully without God. Left to ourselves, we seem to succumb to sin and little by little, we become tools to destroy instead of being life givers.

When we achieve the goodness of the first love commandment, it will be easy to follow through onto the next love commandment. We will choose not to steal from our neighbor, not to lie, not to commit adultery because not only would we be sinning against our neighbors, ourselves and our families, but in doing these things, we know that we would be breaking our love covenant with God. We would be sinning against God! Therefore, breaking the 2nd love commandment is also breaking the 1st love commandment.

When we love the way we are supposed to love, we desire to please and love God and love others.

The 2nd love commandment talks about how we should love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I believe this commandment has been misinterpreted for a long time. When Jesus told us that we should love our neighbors as ourselves it was because he knew that we already love ourselves and in fact, take pretty good care of ourselves. We clothe ourselves and eat pretty good. The popular quote for today that I have heard for years is: -“you have to love yourself first, because if you do not love yourself first; you cannot love another person -.”  Like I said, Jesus knew we already loved ourselves. He also knew that there are times when we have a selfish streak inside of us a mile long. Much of us have always looked out for number 1.

What Jesus meant is when we see our neighbor cold and we have a coat or blanket to give him for warmth, give it to him!  If they need firewood and we have it to give, give it to them! When you see someone in trouble and in need, do not turn your back from these people. If they do not have any bread and you have it to give; give it to them! We eat bread, let them eat too! Put yourself in their place and think what it would be like to go through some of their problems and help them if you can. It is called empathy. I believe this is what Jesus was talking about.

I ASK YOU, did Jesus love himself first? What would have happened if he had loved himself first?  If he had loved himself first, he would have called those angels to rescue him when he was on that cross and we would not have a Savior today. Instead, mercy and obedience won that day. Greater love has no man than, he who lays his life down for a friend. Jesus gave himself for the world!  He was obedient in love for the Father God right to the end.

An excellent example is the story about the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37….
After Jesus had told the man about the two love commandments. The man asked “who is my neighbor?

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.

The Samaritian chose to put the wounded man before his own needs and went out of his way to help the man, taking him to the Inn and paying the Innkeeper to take care of him. Was the Samaritian thinking, “This could have happened to me.” I believe he was filled with empathy. Was the Samaritian, “loving himself first?”  Hardly! But the other two men who passed by the wounded man was “loving themselves first, most definitely!”

The incident can make us wonder how the Pharisee and the Levite could justify their actions in their minds.

Remember the prayers of the Pharisee and the Publican? Luke 18:9-14

9And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: 10“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11“The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12‘I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’ 13“But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ 14“I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Which man “loved himself first and even foremost?” Pride will keep many people out of heaven!

To be fair, Is it possible that the phrase “you have to love yourself first before you can love others” perhaps, they could mean; that we need to take care of ourselves, eat good, drink good things, make sure you have a good car that will get you back and forth. Because, if you do not love (care for) yourself in a good way; how will you be well enough to help other people?

Could the phrase also mean that we care for ourselves enough to not take that drug again or get drunk again? Not drink or drive?  I will not take any more abuse again! I will not abuse those around me! Could it mean, I will no longer do these things because I have not been caring for myself and there are those who love and depend upon me? Is it caring for yourself enough, so you can take care of your family?  Or, is it caring for your family enough, that brings you to stop? Usually when a person has been caught up in the web of sinful abuse, it brings shame and has become some kind of habit. I believe that it is only through loving those who love us can a life be changed.

Think about it. God loved you so much, he sent his only begotten son to be a sacrifice for your sins. If we cannot love ourselves because of the things we have done to ourselves and others, cannot we think about Jesus who loved us before we even knew him? Once we believe and accept the saving grace of Jesus, we can receive forgiveness for our sins. Cannot we think of that mother or father or child that loves you and do this not only for God, but for your loved ones. When we deliberately seek God for deliverance, we are literally laying our lives down for another.

Since the Bible says that God is Love, how can we really love in the way he instructs us to love unless we have His Holy Spirit inside of us? Without God, we cannot love His way. This is why we need the Holy Spirit, to strengthen, teach and guide us throughout our journey. It is then, I believe we can love our neighbor as we love ourselves because once we believe and accept Jesus the Messiah as our Lord, we become a new creature in Christ. The old way passes away, everything becomes new.

Mother Teresa is an excellent example of someone who continued to put everyone before her own needs. She did everything “as unto the Lord.” One of her quotes was:

We can do no great things; only small things with great love.
Every single thing we do, will count for something in our lives; let it count for God’s love!
