If a nation of GODLY INTEGRITY looked like a man

If a nation of Godly Integrity looked like a man.

What would that nation look like?

I had the good fortune of living on and off at my grandparents farm. To this day, I love everything about farms, especially old barns. Everywhere my grandfather went, I would tag along. He was up before dawn and would only come in to eat, take a quick nap and then back to his chores. His work was never done and he never gave up when he was tired.

Picture a nation as a farmer. Every morning, he would slip into his old worn overalls. His weathered beaten face would be lined with wrinkles that was received by the storms in life. His calloused hands would reflect the times of battle for freedom and truth. He would grab a firm grip of the handle of his plow and he would learn the priceless gift of wisdom his past has wrought. When a good harvest was given, he eagerly shared his plenty with those less fortunate and when the harvest was small, he was still thankful. His faith was constant in God.  Privately, he would shed tears as he prayed. Godly integrity is humble and overwhelmed with thankfulness.

The integrity of a nation cannot be built upon past victories or pride. Nor of those who happened to be born “under a lucky star” into wealth and rule alongside of Kings and Queens. True godly Integrity cannot come from the wisdom of the world, but comes from the Spirit and wisdom of God. Integrity in a nation is given by anchored faith in the foundation of  Christ and found in none other.  Godly integrity is nailed tight upon the cross and will never retreat in times of a crisis.

What happens when a nation loses its integrity and replaces it with lies?

As I write, there is a great dividing line of the sheep and the goats in America.

What happened America? Why are you losing your freedoms?

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”   2Co. 3:17

Imagine I am holding one beautiful apple and then in the other hand  another apple that looks good on the outside but when you slice it, you can see tiny browned holes inside where worms have been secretly eating and multiplying.  One apple came from a good tree and the other apple came from a bad tree.

Would you take a bite out of that rotten apple? That is what happened to America.

Years ago, our forefathers dedicated our land on prayer and godly principles and God blessed our land. Does this mean our ancestors did nothing wrong in the new world? Of course not! We did plenty! Does this mean they did not have trials and tests? They had many! Time moved on through the ages and America was seduced to remove prayers, the Bible and God from schools declaring it to be offensive to those who are atheist. We shook hands with a lying spirit. We permitted the exchange our freedoms and compromised our love and faith in God. The unholy spirit will always give you a rotten apple in return.

Here is your answer: Removing the foundation of God’s Spirit in our nation  [our homes, our schools, our work places, our government] results in the removal of our freedoms that God has given to us through Christ. We chose the sophistication of worldly wisdom instead of God’s wisdom. We exchanged apples. The genius of Einstein’s formulas became much more attractive to us. Yet, he himself radically searched after God, desiring how to ride upon light to reach Him.

We exchanged the truth of God for a lie and then, little by little those lies started replacing His gift of freedom. When we draw away from The Holy Spirit, He draws away from us. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us.

Unless those worms are cut out, the whole apple will be rotten.

Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid, God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”   Exodus 20:20

America, God has come to test you. The only thing we should fear is to fear God Himself. The fear of God will keep you from sinning.

Instead, America compromised. We have removed the Spirit of God and aligned ourselves with a lie. We have replaced His Spirit with teachings of perversities:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that call darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!“ Isaiah 5:20

A lying spirit always destroys God’s truth and is replaced with fear.  America becomes captive.  These enmities work from within like the worms work inside of the apple.

Pray with me for our nation.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Open the eyes of our hearts and direct our lives to reflect your truth. Be our strength and increase our faith to not waver or fear, but to trust in you more than our yesterdays. Forgive our reckless past judgements, our careless thoughts and words.  We choose to lean upon your judgements and your words. Your word tells us that you teach your people how to fear you and how your eyes do not miss a thing upon the earth. You care for us. In the past, You O Father have rescued our nation from death, from famine and all those who call upon your Son Jesus, are given a new heart. Through our sorrows you have lifted our soul. Through our helplessness, time and again, it is You who were our strength. Through our doubts, you have given us hope. Though we have tripped and stumbled, you have always been with us.  You are our Father and have always been there; loving us and guiding us. When we lack love, your Spirit of love responds with more grace. You are kind and gentle when we are weak with a sensitive heart. You have healed all the pains of our past. Today, with your help we refuse to worry or  fret about the future; for we know it is all in your hands. We know you hear our prayers and that our nation, was founded upon your principles and not mans. America belongs to you Father. By faith, we know you are working invisibly in our land and setting things in order to bring back those who belong to you. To restore goodness to those who cry out for your help and mercy. By faith, we believe all abortions will be once and for all abolished. By faith, we believe all pedophile rings will be destroyed and all those involved be held accountable. By faith, we believe your justice will reign in our land once again. By faith we believe the fear of man will be replaced by love and faith and that we will discover how the lie of permissiveness breeds rebellion against your truth. Forgive us Lord.  By faith, we will continue to stand upon your word in these times of trouble and know you will deliver your people. By faith, our hearts will rejoice in your unfailing love as we put all of our hope in you. By faith we ask that our nation will once again be called blessed as we declare our God is the Lord. For we know that your angels encamp around those who fear you. By faith we ask that our nation would turn from evil and do good. Together we ask that you would heal those whose hearts have been shattered through these trials and we ask you would save those whose spirits have been crushed. We ask that you send your comforter and encourage them with the hope of your Son Jesus. We declare the Kingdom of God to be on earth, as it is in heaven. Together, we boldly declare that Jesus Christ is Lord.  We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

THIS IS WHAT I SEE..

I can see good happening to.

 I Believe

I believe that I may live to see the manifestation of my prayers come to pass. I believe I will see all my family walking with zeal in God’s truth. I believe I will see believers placed in positions in high places  [happening now], all abortions abolished, unions of marriages between only a man and a woman that will reproduce godly children. I believe all the medias that have lied to us for many decades will be replaced by those who refuse to compromise their integrity and are filled with God’s truth. I believe all perverted teachers will be replaced by those who cherish truth. This means the past history of our nation, the darkness of sorrows, along with the light.  I believe I will see the crooked paths made straight as all sanctuary cities will be turned upside down into a peaceful haven for wounded hearts, yet a place of accountability, a place of discipline and love in Christ. I believe our nation will be the hand of God that will bear fruit in Christ, move mountains by faith, heal souls and strive to do good. I believe I will see our nation worship God in Spirit and Truth. I believe this will come. I believe that any hardship we will face, we will endure together and it will make us stronger and wiser in Christ. We are His nation and we will be His people, humble and filled with thankful hearts! We will fight for what God has given to us and never again, allow room for the enemy to take control. I believe this is what will make America Great. Yes, I believe this!

HOPE brings LIGHT

 Hope brings Light

Our eyesight is a magnificent tool that is designed by God that beholds various shapes and colors. Over time man has learned how to artistically emphasize the eyes with make-up. Yet, our eyes are so much more. The colors we see through our eyes are brought about by light that is captured by reflectors and sends signals to our brain. Without going into a bunch of scientific braininess about colors, I’ll stop right there; as it is not my niche. However, there is a connection.

Let’s tap into the spiritual aspect of what our spiritual eyes are seeing today. Though physically our eyes can be lovely, what are they seeing in the spiritual realm today? Are you seeing anything? Talk to me about it.

Is there light in the eyes of your heart or darkness? Hope can be seen when faith’s light is ruled by God’s love. The term, “we are only human” can be an excuse to live under cover and without light. Another term is “our sin nature.”

Where are you in His Spirit? What controls your life?

Yet, only a few will be able to see what is going on.

For a moment, let’s think bread.

When I take a flour sifter and pour flour into it, I can see the small hard particles of flour that cannot go through the sifter and these are thrown out. Only the smallest of finest refined flour goes into the bowl. Preparing homemade bread is a long process. The yeast must be literally punched and kneaded throughout the whole dough and then, left by itself  to rise. The bread maker walks away to do other things while the dough is slowly rising. A good batch will rise sometimes 3-5 times it’s original size and this takes many hours. No one is in a hurry. There are no shortcuts. The bread maker returns and punches a hole into the dough and kneads it again and allows it to sit alone, sometimes overnight to slowly rise once again. The bread maker can do this two or three times before it is finally ready to be put into the bread pans to bake.

Are we any different?

This is an illustration of what is happening to the believers today. We are going through a sifter. If you are proud and not humble and still holding unforgiveness you are one of those small hard particles that will be thrown out. True humility accepts the honesty that everyone of us have sinned. Held pride will not only bring illness, but bury all your hope. Pride repeatedly deceives and yields a lifetime of lies.  Once and for all,  clear eyes will admit their lives must be humble and have a dependance upon the insight and strength of the Holy Spirit. This is why The Holy Spirit was given to us.

“Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:34

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” Proverbs 28:13

“As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.” Proverbs 27:19

Lastly,

“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12

Only when a person completely humbles himself, confesses his sins to God and believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God and went to the cross for him to receive forgiveness can a person be set free from the old life.  A new life awaits before you. God never begins something in your life that he doesn’t finish.

I urge you today, to not wait another moment, as you hear His Spirit calling you today.

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father,

I know I am a sinner.  I want to be set free and released from all of my sins. I want to be born again. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, was crucified upon that cross to take my sins away. I ask that you would forgive my sins. [name them]____.  Fill me up with your Holy Spirit and teach me your ways, make me strong and send me godly people to help me along the way. I ask this in Jesus name amen.

If you have humbled yourself and prayed this prayer, the Bible says you have been born-again and a new creature in Christ. Now, you need to grow and become strong. Buy a good Bible and begin to read the Book of John. Mark the verses that will stand out to you. Pray to God while you read. Find a good Bible believing church and make new friends. They will pray for you and you will draw knowledge and strength from them.  Welcome into the family!

Please pray along with me. Thank you.

Fraud is everywhere. Especially when you go to sleep. Pray with me for our nation.

 Heavenly Father,

Thank you for giving us your sword. Thank you for giving us a mustard seed of faith, whereas you said we can speak to that mountain in our lives and command it to be removed and cast into the sea.  We speak to this mountain that is looming over our nation’s fraudulent activity in the election process and we speak truth come forth! We speak all fraudulent activity be exposed and stopped!  We speak all those guilty and involved in this theft to come forth and confess! We speak, our President Trump would receive the rightful votes he has endlessly sowed for in this election. We speak his abundant harvest to come forth!  We speak all lies to be cast into the sea! We speak a continual reversing in states that have cheated to be declared victory for President Trump!

We will keep our eyes upon You O Father and with Your right hand, we will not be shaken.  For no word from You O God ever fails. We have learned you are a good God, you are our refuge in times of trouble and you care for those who trust in you.  We trust in you O Lord.

Help us O Lord to hold to the hope unswervingly to the faith we profess. You are our hope. For your promises are faithful. Thank you Father. We live by faith, not by sight. We choose to be strong and courageous, we will not be afraid or terrified of those who are violent, those who deceive and scheme to take over our nation, for You O Lord God go with us, You will never leave us or forsake us. You O Father call us your children and your word says we have overcome them because greater is He in us, than He who is in the world. Thank you Father.

You O Father give our souls rest, our hope comes from You. You are our rock, our salvation; and fortress. We refuse to give into fear or be shaken. Thank you Father for renewing our strength and that we can soar like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint.

Your Son Jesus said “That in Him we may have peace. In the world we will have tribulation. But we can take heart; because you have overcome the world.” We believe this Lord.  We will keep our minds stayed upon you, for you have taught us this is the way to have perfect peace.

Right now, we cast all anxieties, worries, fears, doubts, worldly thoughts upon You O Lord because you care for us. And, we let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, to which we are called a body. Thank you for your peace Father.

In Jesus Name, we pray: Amen.

99.44% vs 100% pure love

                               “99.44% vs 100% Pure Love”

Country and western music fans will remember how Ronnie Milsap use to sing a song called, “Pure Love.”  It was 99.44% pure love. I know about that song, because I used to sing along with Ronnie before I was born again.

All the many years that I partied and danced, foolishly ran on the beach with my friends, swam in a spring lake at midnight [gators] and rolled my VW bug 3 times and was thrown out!  I gave no thought of the consequences of my behavior. I did not realize I was sowing seeds that would bring an unwanted harvest.  I kept right on singing Ronnie’s song, “Pure Love.”

Everyone was looking for love in the 60’s and 70’s. We were vagabonds and didn’t know that true love is pure love. In fact, everyone was looking for love in all the wrong places, for all the wrong reasons for all the wrong things and with all the wrong people! My life was all wrong! How could we understand or see when our eyes were blinded by living in sin?

Stay with me.

We have a God who can stop a rider from racing its horse at the gate! You can be bucked off a saddle and roped like a calf in record time. He knows exactly what we need to:

  1. Get our attention
  2. Humble ourselves
  3. Seek His truth
  4. Believe
  5. Surrender to His will

I asked a good friend of mine “Professor Bob Earley,”  if the speed of light can be compared to a nanosecond? He thought for a second and easily said, “it has to do with the measuring and timing. It could be something like measuring 2 to millions.” I further looked it up and read one answer that said, “Light travels at 299,792,458 meters per second and a nanosecond is a billionth of a second so in one nanosecond light travels about 0.3 meters or about 0.98 feet per nanosecond.” I am sure everyone got that!  My mind started to swim. I think in pictures, colors and words, not numbers. But, I felt I was given a little insight to make my point.

Within one single nanosecond, the marvel of God’s love can implant a miracle seed of hope deep within your heart.  Though your heart may be empty now, it is one step away from grace. Yes, one nanosecond. Miracles begin to happen when we are given a new heart in Christ.  Only when we have been born-again [born from above] do we learn how to love and come face to face with 100% true love. Purer then Ivory soap! Those who have come from good homes have an idea of how to love, but unless you have the Spirit of God working inside of you; you will miss the mark.

Hang on.

Real Love begins with a seed.

Real Love gives, overlooks and forgives.

Real Love surrenders.

Real Love puts down all pride.

Real Love humbles.

Love sees love in others and cannot wait to say, “I love you!”

Love must love!

And, reproduces more love and is drawn to other “lovers!”

After it’s own kind.

Real love sacrifices,

Resists fear, and yields to faith.

Draws you closer to God.

God’s character is filled with a Holy Love. Everything He does and allows is motivated by His love. While we are here on earth, we look through a sliver of understanding. The many questions of suffering and pain cannot all be answered in this life. We may not see the big picture, but we can be assured; God is always working behind the scenes in more ways we can barely imagine.

When we love the way we were created, we have the peace of God inside of us. “What! You say? How can anyone have peace the way the world is turned upside down today?”

Listen closely: Jesus Christ began as a seed implanted by the Holy Spirit, inside of a virgin named Mary. He was the son of God, and was sent so you and I could have forgiveness for our sins. He was the 100% pure love sacrifice.

Jesus came into the world, after His own kind. His Father God. Everything he did and said; came from the instructions of His Father.

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19 kjv

In the natural, this can be compared to a couple having a baby. Their union, brought the seed and fertilized the egg the woman had and the baby was born after its kind.   The baby will have the attributes of the parents.

“Jesus answered, Verily verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit; Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:5-7 kjv.

When we hear the word of God, a seed is planted by the Holy Spirit inside of you. Depending on where your heart is, will depend if the seed lands upon good soil. If the seed lands upon good soil, you become pregnant just like Mary became pregnant. The moment [or nanosecond] you believe by faith and accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was sent to be crucified for your sins; you have just been given a supernatural new birth in Christ. A baby has been born! You have been given a free gift by God, called grace. This is after His kind and The Kingdom of God is within you.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8 kjv

He is with us and within us.

[This is not to be confused with the futuristic Kingdom of God that will be our home.]

But how? Humble yourself and pray with me.

Heavenly Father,

I know I have sinned. I feel so ashamed. I believe that your Son Jesus went to the cross so I can have forgiveness of my sins. Please forgive me for [name them]:___________________________.  I repent. Set me free from my past. Open my eyes further to your truth. Your word says that I am now a new creature in Christ and that old things are passed away and all things become new. Help me grow and send me your loving believers to be by my side and hold me up. Teach me your ways Lord.  I ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

All believers have walked through the same door you have just walked through. There are no shortcuts to the new life in Christ. If you have sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart, the Bible says you have been born of the Spirit, like Jesus requested. Now, you must buy a good Bible and ask a friend where a good Bible believing church is located. Do not be surprised if you lose all your worldly friends, you are not the same person you once was.  Join a Bible study to learn the truth and make new friends. You will gain strength through older believers and they will pray for you. Welcome to the Family!

a proud deplorable

This was sent to me from a friend.

The typical U.S. household headed by a person age 65 or older has a net worth 47 times greater than a household headed by someone under 35, according to an analysis of census data released Monday.  47 times!!

They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, blue hairs, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs.  Some of us are "Baby Boomers" getting ready to retire, others are from the Greatest Generation already retired.  We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were.  We worked hard, raised our children, worshiped our God and have grown old together

In school we studied English, history, math, and science, which enabled us to lead America into the technological age.  We still use two spaces after a period when typing.  Most of us remember what outhouses were, many of us with firsthand experience.  We remember the days of telephone party-lines, $.25 gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes.

We are probably considered old fashioned and outdated by many  But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off.  We won World War II, fought in Korea and Vietnam.  We can quote â€the Pledge of Allegiance€, and know where to place our hand while doing so.  We wore the uniform of our country with pride, and lost many friends on the battlefield.  We didn't fight for the Socialist States of America; we fought for the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."  We wore different uniforms but carried the same flag.
We know the words to the â€star Spangled Banner,” â€America,” and â€America the Beautiful€ by heart, and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we sing.  We have lived what many of you should have read in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America

Yes, we are older and slower these days but rest assured, we have at least one good fight left in us.  We love this country, fought and died for it, and now we are going to save it.  It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us.  We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and theta€™s an oath we plan to keep.  There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our founders, there is no way we are going to remain silent.

It was mostly the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democrat Congress.  You fell for the "Hope and Change" which in reality was nothing but "Hype and Lisa€ from your college professors.  You youngsters need to taste socialism and see evil face to face to understand you don't like it after all.  You make a lot of noise, most are all too interested in their careers or "Climbing the Social Ladder" to be involved in such mundane things such as patriotism and voting.  Many of those who fell for the "Great Lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's  remorse.  With all the education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank their "Kool-Aid."

Well, don't worry youngsters, the Grey-Haired Brigade is here, and in 2016 we took back our nation.  We may drive a little slower than you would like, but we get where we're going, and in 2020 we're driving to the polls again by the millions.

So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor your country, and thank God for the old geezers of the "Gray-Haired Brigade."

Footnote:  This is spot on.  I am another Gray-Haired Geezer signing on.  I will circulate this to other Gray-Haired Geezers all over this still great country.  Can you feel the ground shaking?  It's not an earthquake, it's a STAMPEDE.  And, you and I are members.

Please Don't Delete.  Just Read and Pass it on!!

In  God  we  STILL  trust!

Signed: Proud Deplorable

Wake up call !

Once upon a time there was a conscience who whispered to the man,

“Don’t look at that, don’t touch that!”

But, he did not listen.

Once upon a time there was a conscience who shouted at the man,

“Don’t look at that, don’t touch that!”

But, he did not listen.

Once upon a time, there was no man.

Our conscience is a marvelous gift, given by God; only if we use it. Even a dog cowers in humility, when he has done wrong. Listening to our conscience can save us a lifetime of heartache.

“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.” Acts 24:16

We can rock along and feel great until we begin to be tried and tested by God. This isn’t for him to see how we will respond because he already knows, but these trials and tests are for us to know and see how we respond. From the sweetest to the unloving, we all go through our customized trials and it is all about relationships. Your testings will usually come by those closest to you. A word that bites can set off alarms of self-defense. A believers walk can seem like we take 5 steps ahead and 3 backwards. A close friend of mine who has passed, once told me;  “Everything we study, we will walk through.” We walk through our lessons! She was so right! If we do not get it the first time, we’ll find ourselves walking through it again until we do. But aren’t you grateful our Father never gives up on us?

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your corrections, for continually reminding us what to drop and what to pick up! Thank you for your whisperings, the thoughts we need to discard and pick back up! Thank you for renewing our minds into the mind of your Son Jesus. Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for the gift of conscience like that of a lamp for us to hear, see and know what is of you and what is not. In Jesus we pray. Amen.

120 Trumpets !

Visualize 120 trumpets blowing at the same time! The Hebrews were having a grand celebration as King Solomon brought his father David’s silver and gold into the newly built temple and they placed the Ark of the Covenant into the Holy of Holies. The Levities were singing and their sons and relatives were dressed in white linens. Some played cymbals, psalteries and harps. They stood at the east end of the altar and with them a 120 priests sounded the trumpets!

The Bible continues to say that the trumpeters and the singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord. They were all unified when they said, “For He is good, for his mercy endures forever and then, the house was filled with a cloud. The cloud was considered to be the presence of God and called The Shechinah Glory. The Priests were completely overwhelmed and could not stand to minister because the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.  Rd. 2Ch.5.

Trumpets blow for two reasons. One is for war and the other one is to celebrate the goodness and mercies of God.

Our God has a faithful remnant who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. These are believers in Jesus Christ who are a building that is fitly framed together into a Holy Temple, in the Lord. This temple is not built by hands, not of bricks, stones or wood. Together, we are a habitation of God through His Holy Spirit. We are called a church, but one without walls. We are the walls with living organisms within; and Jesus is the Cornerstone. His Holy Spirit lives within our temples [body]. Day and night, we offer up praise and thanks for giving us His gift of grace.

The Hebrews were full of joy and all in one accord when they sang and played their instruments. I believe they must have blown the trumpets with the power of God that day! God heard it and the glory cloud fell among them! The priests could no longer stand. The Holy Spirit moves among His people who are in unity and in one accord and this is the birth place of miracles.

Today, many trumpets of war are blowing against the tide of evil that works to overtake those of faith. The trumpets blow to warn those who are not yet right with God, to procrastinate no longer. The trumpets blow to humble yourselves and forgive those who have offended you and to love others in the way Jesus Christ has loved you.

Pray with me:

Precious Father,

Thank you for blowing your trumpets of truth in our hearts. Thank you for giving us your ear and answering our prayers. Thank you for the reality of your Word. Thank you for never leaving us or forsaking us. Thank you for the miracle of your love in our lives. For changing our lives, for directing us, to leading us into the narrow path and for constantly teaching us. We cannot praise you enough O Father.

Right now, we humble ourselves as we hear those trumpets blowing in our hearts. We ask that you would forgive our complacency and our procrastination and take our willing souls and spirits to be mighty vessels of the power of your light, a lighthouse of your love that is life changing to those you send our way. We rebuke all spirits of fear and all lying spirits that would hinder your will in our lives. We move in the faith you have given to us, by the power of your Holy Spirit, by your words and the word of our testimonies. In Jesus we rejoice and ask. Amen.

We have, not yet learned how to love

 A Froggy Thought

#3 judge not

One cool evening down by the blue spring pond, I heard an old bullfrog croak to his mate “Iris”, as he sat upon his lily pad:

“Iris, things are not the same around these waters. Our offspring no longer croaks a song unto our Creator.”

Mrs Bullfrog rolled her big eyes towards the old frog and said,

“Bully, why do you suppose that happened? And, why does everyone seem so angry in our pond? I’ve seen strange frogs come into our glades and they are taking over our lily pads.”

The old Bullfrog took a deep breath, “You know darlin, when you think about it this began to happen when some of us turned our back on our Creator and the family values he gave to us. Our tadpoles rebelled against God. They grew up, became strong frogs and grew away.”

Iris Bullfrog quickly snapped up a fly, nodded and said, “The east end of our pond where the strangers have been stomping on the lilies have become dumping waters. The froggy assemblies are frightened by the violence and are jumping into different puddles and ponds. Some are even croaking against each other and Bully, I heard down by creek defiance, “Prepared Gestation”  are destroying our precious tadpoles.”

The wise old frog looked up into the full moon and sadly said, “My dear, we have not yet learned how to love and not attack each other, but to go after the problem instead.”

The angry spirit Mrs Iris Bullfrog talked about in her pond had seeped into believing hearts and began to divide the frogs. The once beautiful blue pond became polluted and poisoned by a lie and the froggy citizens rebelled in selfishness, anger and fear instead of love and faith.

Jesus said, “a new command I give to you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34

Not so simple a task when trials appear in our lives. When we walk away from our Father, the light of His word becomes dim and is replaced by darkness.

Together, we can change our nation by repenting one by one. If you are married, repent together. Repent with a friend. Wherever your circle of weakness lies, hold fast with each other. Stand strong through the trials and pray for each other. When we love God more than anything else in our lives change will come. Only through Christ can we make the decision, to begin to give each other the benefit of the doubt and forgive; and in this way, we will get the garbage out of our pond.

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for your love and your never-ending mercies towards us. I thank you for stirring up our lives to repentance. Be with us and examine our hearts Father. Right now, we choose to repent and turn away from the complacency and the  idleness in our hearts, our words and the circles of sins that we have allowed to come between our walk and you. Forgive us Father for: [name your sins]____. We ask that your Holy Spirit would fill us up and hold us close to you so we can be strong in your Son Jesus Christ. We ask that you would send us help from your angels and strong believers to see us through our temptations and the trials that are up ahead. Today, we make the decision to continue on renewing our mind into the mind of your son. We choose to keep the old man dead and buried and walk in the light of your word. In Jesus we pray, amen.
