Good Morning,
Spring is my all time favorite time of year! I love love love it. It seems every animal and plant are cheering with sheer enthusiastic glee that cold weather is past. I share their joy! Because of this, I've been busy pruning, digging, planting, replanting and moving things around the garden. It is where I belong, in the dirt! lol :) Actually, when you think about it; since we came from the dirt isn't it good reasoning to return back to the dirt and toil within all those minerals, herbs, natural antibiotics & vitamins that has enriched our bodies?
If you'd like to agree with me this morning in prayer, I'd love to have you join me.
Heavenly Father,
We are so thankful we serve You, a Holy God! You are our God who never fails us and never leaves us. Though there be times we feel like we are in the desert, we know you are there too. We can honestly say, your eyes are everywhere, nothing is missed in your sight and we say: "Thank you for that! Thank you for your unquestioning and incredible great love."
This morning we offer up our hearts to you in every area: All those weak areas that we struggle with from time to time. We ask that you would do a cleansing and deep work where we need it the most. We ask that you would make these things known inside of us and give us the solutions and answers on how to deal with them. We choose to listen to your Holy Spirit. We choose to be obedient. Expose any pride we have inside of our hearts; and any high-mindedness and independence from you. We ask that you would forgive the excuses that our flesh makes, when we do not want to follow through with obedience.
We also refuse to put any trust in money, in our homes, our gardens, family, friends, pets for we fully acknowledge our source is you! We choose to hold on to things lightly. Thank you for this Lord. Thank you for all these blessings and give us more insight how we can be good stewards and servants while we are here.
In Jesus we pray, amen
"Love the Lord, all his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord."
Psalm 31:23, 24
